MBSR and MBCT and other Mindfulness-Based Programs

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy(MBCT), and other mindfulness based programs were created and standardized as research programs. This research has quantified the value of mindfulness teachings and proven statistically the power of mindfulness based practices for healing for increasing numbers of physical and mental illnesses. We offer these courses on a contract basis for organizations or in individual coaching sessions.

Programs by Design - We prefer to create transformational trainings designed to create new perspectives and open new possibilities. Tailored transformational programs borrow scientifically recognized strategies from western mindfulness-based programs, but also incorporate valuable elements from the ancient source of mindfulness teachings especially vipassana meditation (clear seeing) and from relational vipassana which foster qualities of mind conducive to relational strength and enhanced performance.



    Formal Mindfulness-Based Programs are offered in six to eight 2 1/2 hour sessions and include a day of retreat. Because of the length of time available, the eight week course includes more body work than shorter Insight and Mindfulness courses.

    Insight and Mindfulness Courses are appropriate both for those new to meditation and a valuable deepening and enriching experience for anyone who has had other meditation experience.

    Materials are provided for all courses including a workbook and practice CD's or online resources. These material can be designed specifically for your company, including your logo and other company information.
